Reviews...
I've read the Australian edition of Amy's book, titled "Dancing with the Devil." Ms. Norman's brutal honesty will sear the complacent who think that living with an abuser is an easy thing to escape. Her courage will inspire hope for women who are still trapped in relationships of abuse. Her strength will encourage survivors trying to heal from the trauma that is domestic violence. People training in the field of domestic violence would do well to read this for an understanding of the dynamics that occur between abusers and their partners. Highly recommended. Thanks, Amy. 'I'm writing to you just to say that I read the book 'Living with the Devil' and found it the most empowerring true story of survival I've ever read about. This is precesely the kind of work women (and men) who haven't got out yet need in order to give them strength and hope. I picked up the book and read it in one breath, as it were. I'm still under the spell. Thank you for having the courage to leave the abusive relationship and to tell the story - you have provided us with a classic'. Email recieved from a reader in the UK.
